WOBURN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 40-year-old Everett man was indicted on charges related to three masked armed robberies in a 48 hour span.
Michael Moynahan was indicted by a grand jury on Monday on three counts of masked armed robbery, resisting arrest and assault with a dangerous weapon.
An arraignment date in Middlesex Superior Court has not
yet been set.
According to police, Moynahan allegedly robbed a convenience store on Chelsea Street in Everett on June 7. He reportedly put on a black mask and pulled
out a large knife, demanding and taking money from the cash registers while
threatening the clerk not to call police.
On that same day, Moynahan reportedly robbed a
convenience store on the Revere
Beach Parkway while wearing a mask and holding a
knife.
On June 8, Moynahan targeted a convenience store on Chelsea Street using the same tactics.
Witnesses from that scene told police that Moynahan fled on a bike. They informed a nearby officer who took
Moynahan into custody.
