Emergency crews who responded to a fire call in Boston Tuesday morning found a dead woman and a man waving a knife.
Crews were called to six-story building at 2 Fidelis Way for a kitchen fire and a person burned after 9 a.m. When fire officials arrived they found the man with the knife threatening to jump out the window.
The man was taken to the hospital. It was not immediately known how the woman died. It was also unknown how the fire started or the extent of the damage.
Two maintenance workers and a resident were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
Fire investigators, Boston police and the Boston district attorney's office were investigating.
