Major delays on I-495 following crash - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

Traffic was backed up for more than 15 miles following a crash on Interstate 495 Wednesday morning.

The crash, involving a tractor-trailer and a car, happened near Woburn Street in Lowell. Two lanes on the southbound side of the highway were shut down, but have since re-opened.

Traffic was backed up to Route 3 in Methuen. Drivers should seek alternate routes around the area.

There was no word on any injuries.
