BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A 40-year-old Mattapan man is accused of fatally stabbing his uncle on Blue Hill Avenue Tuesday night.
Derrick Bullock is being held on $50,000 cash bail for his alleged connection to the murder of 43-year-old Curtis Cox.
Cox was transported to Boston Medical Center on Tuesday night after he was stabbed in the neck inside the Mattapan House of Pizza shortly before 9:30 p.m. He succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
Prior to Cox's death, Bullock was charged with aggravated assault and battery and armed assault with intent to murder. He has since been charged with murder.
An arraignment date for Bullock's new charge was not scheduled as of Wednesday.
