DANVERS (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Thieves took off with Jimmy Fund donation money, candy, and money from concession sales after breaking into a Little League concession stand.
The theft marks the second time Plains Park in Danvers has been targeted by thieves in the past month, reports the Danvers Patch.
On July 12, thieves pulled locks off of boxes belonging to the Danvers Recreation Department and stole the sports equipment inside.
Then on Sunday, thieves stole $80 of Jimmy Fund proceeds, concession money, and candy from the Little League Concession stand.
Officials tell the Danvers Patch that Sunday's theft likely occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 4:20 p.m.
