MANSFIELD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The Comcast Center was looking to avoid a repeat of Thursday night as thousands turned out for a rock festival Friday.
On Thursday, nearly 100 people were arrested at "The Influence Tour" show in Mansfield.
Police said 35 were criminally charged and 60 were taken into police custody for being intoxicated.
On Friday, the "Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival" rolled into town featuring metal acts through the afternoon and into the evening.
Concertgoers said security and police were more than visible for Friday's show.
The Comcast Center has been under the microscope after two people died at a rave music festival last week.
Representatives from the Comcast Center's ownership group would not speak on camera, but said there is an underage drinking problem at the venue.
