(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Storms popped up in the area Saturday night with frequent lightning and heavy downpours and another round of showers and storms is expected Sunday afternoon.

Sunday will be partly sunny and humid with a high of 86 degrees in Boston.

Expect early showers on Monday, some could be severe. The sun comes out later.

There will be lots of sunshine on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and it will be less humid.
