Fire in Lynn displaces four people, kills family cat - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

LYNN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A fire tore through a duplex in Lynn on Sunday morning and displaced four people.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Marion Street around 9 a.m. on Sunday.  The fire began in the basement and spread to the back side of the house.

Investigators believe there may have been electrical issues with a fan in the basement.

No one was hurt in the fire; however, a family cat did not survive.

The American Red Cross is assisting the four people who were displaced.
