After a hot, sticky weekend some relief is in store for the week.
Dry air will start getting pulled in from Canada during the lunchtime hours Monday, which will cause a noticeable drop in humidity and bring cooler temperatures to the area.
FOX 25 meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon said temperatures would be in the 80s for much of the day, with much lower humidity in the afternoon. Temperatures were forecast in the upper 50s and lower 60s for the overnight hours Tuesday.
The only rain falling Monday morning was south of Boston towards Cape Cod.
Fitzgibbon said storms on Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard would continue through 9 a.m.
Sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s to 80 degrees were forecast for Tuesday.
