ROCKPORT (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A South Korean student is dead after an apparent drowing in Rockport on Sunday.

Si Jae Kim, 22, a student at the English Language Center in Boston, was visiting Front Beach with some friends on Sunday when he went missing.

Friends of the victim alerted a clerk at Captain's Bounty Motor Inn, and the clerk called police.

A short time later, an officer who had climbed to the third floor of a nearby house spotted Kim's body floating in the harbor.

Kim's death is still under investigation, but officers don't believe there is an indication of foul play.
