Saks Fifth Avenue & Karmanos present 'Saks Blast'

Saks Fifth Avenue is partnering up with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit to present Saks Blast, a premier fall fashion event.

The event will celebrate the debut of "10022-SHOE," Saks Fifth Avenue's renovated and expanded new address for women's shoes, showcasing double the amount of current styles.

Thoughout the day there will also be a sneak peek of the refurbished first floor, complete with new Cartier, Chanel and Louis Vuitton Boutiques.

Designer Naeem Kahn is slated to make a special guest appearance with samples from his Fall & Resort Collections.

The event will be held at the Saks Fifth Avenus Somerset Collection location in Troy, on Wednesday, August 15.

Friend Tickets are on sale for $175 and will include cocktails, hors d-oeuvres, live entertainment, the fashion show and a $25 Saks Fifth Avenue Gift Card. Underwriting opportunities are also available, and include all of the above, plus additional amenities and event perks:  Sponsor, $5000; Benefactor, $1000; and Patron $500.
