BOSTON (AP) - Prosecutors say two men were shot in a downtown Boston strip club after an argument over who could sit in a booth.
Thirty-five-year-old Steven Gayle pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Boston Municipal Court to assault and weapons charges in connection with the early morning shooting and was ordered held on $250,000 cash bail.
The shootings occurred inside The Glass Slipper around 2:30 a.m.
One man was shot in the face and the other man in the head. Police say they are 28- and 31-years-old. One is in critical condition, but both are expected to survive.
Gayle's attorney Pamela Harris-Daly said outside court her client was the victim of aggression and is partially disabled after being shot in 2006. She said he owns a video game parlor.
