READING (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Reading Health
Department has confirmed that Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) has been
detected in mosquitoes in town.
The mosquitoes collected are said to be mammal-biting mosquitoes and were
caught in a trap on the east side of town off Haverhill Street.
According to Patch.com,
health officials plan on adding pesticide to catchbasins throughout Reading to prevent
breeding and have scheduled to have the town sprayed by truck-mouthed aerosol
sprayers.
