WALTHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Police in Waltham are looking to reunite a parrot with its owner after the bird apparently took an interest in one of their officers.
The parrot was handed over to animal control after it flew into a police cruiser and landed on a police officer's shoulder.
Prior to its run in with police, the parrot was heard in a maple tree on Columbus Avenue.
Anyone who thinks they may know the owner is asked to call animal control at 781-314-3596.
