BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two Boston firefighters required medical attention while fighting a blaze in Dorchester on Thursday.
Boston Fire crews were called to the scene of a fire in a three-family home located at 5 Fairmount Street shortly after 11 a.m. The building was quickly evacuated.
Smoke was originally showing from the basement. Within minutes the blaze reached the upper floors and a fifth alarm was ordered.
One for the firefighters was evaluated by Boston EMS for a back injury. It was not immediately clear what injuries the other firefighter sustained.
