Fallen firefighter honored with memorial motorcycle ride - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

WORCESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Loved ones honored a Worcester firefighter who died in the line of duty with a memorial motorcycle ride on Saturday.

The first annual Memorial Motorcycle Ride for Jon D. Davies, Sr. began and ended at Pepe's Restaurant on Franklin Street. Family, friends, and members of the community joined in on the ride to remember Jon and to donate to charity.

Riders paid $20 and passengers paid $10 to participate in the event. All proceeds benefit the Greg Hill Foundation which assists families who have been touched by tragedy.

Jon Davies died while fighting a fire on Arlington Street in December 2011.
