Two pedestrians hit by car in Wellfleet

WELLFLEET (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Police in Wellfleet are investigating after two people were reportedly hit by a car.

Investigators say that police and fire crews responded to Route 6 and Cove Road at around 11 a.m. to find two people lying in the roadway at the entrance of Cove Corners.

First aid was administered to the injured pedestrians. Investigators did not comment on their condition, only saying that they were taken to Cape Cod Hospital.

John Clark, 26, of Truro, is accused of hitting the pedestrians while traveling west on Cove Road. The accident remained under investigation on Saturday night.
