PORTSMOUTH, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A New Hampshire man convicted of armed robbery in 2004 is back behind bars after he was reportedly found to be in possession of a machine gun.
Joshua Nieves of Greenland was arrested in a Portsmouth neighborhood on Friday night. Police arrested Nieves after receiving information that suggested he was in possession of firearms.
While acting on a search warrant, police located and seized a Mac-11 firearm and ammunition.
Nieves has been charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, violation of a protective order, and possession of a controlled drug.
