Suffolk County police arrested a man on Friday for engaging in criminal sexual acts with a 13-year-old boy he met on Craigslist.
Authorities say an officer was searching a utilities access road on Long Island Power Authority property for a stolen dirt bike in Shoreham when he witnessed a man sitting with a child in the rear seat of a blue 2010 Toyota Corolla around 3:41 p.m.
42-year-old David Boutin of West Hempstead was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the second degree.
Boutin is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 18.
Suffolk County detectives are asking anyone with information about Boutin to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Long Island environmental officials say they are looking for another alligator seen in a river. According to Newsday, state Department of Environmental Conservation say the gator was reported on Sunday night and was confirmed by officers on Wednesday. The sighting is the fifth in the same area of the Peconic River where DEC officials captured four alligators in April.
