(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Commuters on
Interstate 95 in the Attleboro
area are once again facing delays on Sunday after an accident sent power lines
dangling across the busy highway on Aug. 16.
Crews were able to work under more controlled
conditions as they reinstalled transmission lines throughout Sunday morning and
into the early afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police say structural
issues caused those wires to become entangled with a tractor-trailer on
Thursday.
The man who was driving the truck, Joseph Irorere, of Brockton, has been treated and released from
a local hospital. The 45-year-old received a mild electrical shock when those
lives wires fell on his cab."
