(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Colorado woman managed to survive a fall and injury in the woods of Wyoming and all of it was captured on camera.
Last Saturday, Alexandra DeForest and a friend were hiking when Alexandra fell down an eight-foot trench and broke her ankle.
As her friend went to get help, Alexandra started recording. Her twisted broken ankle is in the video, but it's just too graphic to show you. Alexander says making the video calmed her nerves.
After more than five hours, she was finally rescued. She's on the mend. Her foot is facing the right way now with a metal rod and screws holding her ankle together.
The YouTube video has nearly 170,000 views since it was posted Wednesday.
