Police: Woman mugged near North Quincy MBTA station

QUINCY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A woman in her 20s was attacked near the North Quincy MBTA station on Sunday night.

Police told The Patriot Ledger that the victim was walking on Newbury Avenue around 10:47 p.m. when she was attacked.  The assailant threw her to the sidewalk and demanded money.

The woman suffered minor injuries.  She was not able to give police a description of the suspect because it was too dark.

The suspect did not recover any money from the victim and ran off in the direction of Hollis Avenue.
