BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Boston police have released more photos of a person of interest they hope to identify in connection with a fatal stabbing last week in the city's Roxbury neighborhood.

Police believe the person may have information about the Wednesday afternoon stabbing of 24-year-old Rashad Lesley-Barnes.

Lesley-Barnes was stabbed in the area of 65 Warren St. around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he died as the result of multiple stab wounds.

According to a spokesman for the MBTA, Lesley-Barnes was involved in an argument on the bus, but the fatal stabbing occurred once the parties got off the bus.

In one photo, the subject is observed as he is about to enter the 23 bus in the area of School Street and Washington Street in Dorchester. The second photo shows the same person in the area of 90 Warren Street in Roxbury during the stabbing incident.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or current location of the person is asked to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.

Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of those who wish to remain anonymous.
