Dudley health officials lift boil water order

Posted: Updated:

DUDLEY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Officials in Dudley lifted the boil water order on Tuesday after two rounds of testing found that the town's water supply was clean and did not contain traces of E. coli.

The Board of Health in Dudley is asking residents to flush all water supply lines by running cold water for approximately five minutes.

The boil water alert went into effect on Aug. 17 after traces of E. coli were found in samples taken from the town's water supply.

Anyone with questions or concerns is asked to contact the Dudley Water Department at 508-949-8007.
