NORTH ATTLEBORO (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A North Attleboro man is facing drunk driving charges after he reportedly crashed his vehicle approximately four feet from a toddler sitting in a stroller.

Jesse Coreas, 21, is facing several charges, including of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving to endanger, for a crash that occurred on Mount Hope Street around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday night.

According to police, Coreas was driving on Mount Hope Street when he went off the road and struck a pickup truck parked outside Angela Houle's apartment.

Houle was installing a car seat in the pickup when Coreas' SUV crashed into her truck and knocked her to the ground. The car came to a stop approximately four feet from her 14-month-old son, Carter.

Houle was treated at the scene. Her father was killed by a drunk driver when she was 6 years old.

Coreas pleaded innocent Monday in Attleboro District Court and is due back in court on September 24.
