Police on Long Island arrested a schoolteacher for drunken driving and scuffling with cops, authorities said.

Jay Condrill, 47, of Eastport, is a teacher at school in Central Islip, Suffolk County Police said.

On Tuesday night, cops responded to the Triangle Pub located on Old Montauk Highway in Eastport because Condrill had been asked to leave the bar but returned, authorities said.

Cops watched him getting out of his car and he appeared to be in an "intoxicated condition," police said.

When two officers tried to arrest Condrill, he threatened them and refused to put his hands behind his back, police said. The officers said they had no choice but to use physical force and Taser Condrill in order to take him into custody, authorities said.

Police charged Condrill with driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Cops took him to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in East Patchogue.
