BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Boston Fire crews responded to South Station during rush hour on Wednesday after as many as 25 people became stuck inside an elevator.
Fire officials say the elevator failed to move because it was overcrowded.
All of the people inside were helped out of the elevator. There were no injuries reported.
MBTA lines running out of South Station were delayed for a period of time on Wednesday night as a result of the incident.
