SOMERVILLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A male suspect reportedly entered a bank in Somerville's Davis Square on Wednesday afternoon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police in Somerville responded to the Central Bank located at 401 Highland Avenue around 2:20 p.m.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank, threatened employees and demanded cash from a teller. The suspect fled the bank with cash.
No weapon was shown, and no one was hurt.
The suspect is described as white male of average height and build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a green tee shirt and a black Stanley Cup baseball hat; however, police recovered both those items not far from the scene.
