PLYMOUTH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two women from Manomet were arrested on animal cruelty charges Tuesday following the June removal of over 100 animals from their home.
Plymouth Police tell FOX 25 that Evelyn Luciano and Kelley Fahey, Luciano's daughter-in-law, were arrested after failing to appear in court on an initial summons.
In June, police officers along with the Animal Rescue League seized 162 animals from their home on Indian Avenue. Dogs, ducks, and even goats were just some of the animals recovered from the home. That home has since been deemed uninhabitable.
Both women are expected back in court on Oct. 24.
