Police-involved car chase ends at service station

Posted: Updated:

WHITMAN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – An East Bridgewater woman was arrested Friday morning after leading police on a chase through several towns.

Amanda Flores, 25, is facing charges of driving to endanger, operating with a suspended license and negligent operation.

According to police, this began as a routine stop on Temple Street in Whitman because the vehicle did not match the registration plate, but police say Flores led authorities on a chase through Abington, Brockton, back into Abington, through Whitman, and into East Bridgewater before heading back into Whitman. The chase involving the white Jeep ended at a service station.

Flores sideswiped a car as she passed it on Harvard Street in Whitman, police said. The driver in the other car was not hurt.

Flores is scheduled to appear in Brockton District Court on Friday afternoon.
