Penn State to remove 'Sweet Caroline' from football games

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Red Sox favorite has been banned at Penn State in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" was removed from school sporting events because of the line "touching you, touching me," which was written to describe an 11-year-old Caroline Kennedy.

In June, Sandusky was convicted of abusing 10 boys over a 15-year-period.
