TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu is predicting "not a big win," but a win nonetheless for Mitt Romney in New Hampshire.
In an interview on the convention floor with FOX 25's Sharman Sacchetti, Sununu said he believes it's "because New Hampshire is smart enough to do the right thing this time." He went on to say "last time the country got sold a bill of goods. It got style over substance. We've now had four years of disaster. It's time to get the problem fixed and smart people do the right thing."
When asked if Paul Ryan's social conservatism is where the party is headed, he responded, "Paul is not running to be the social manager of America. He's running to fix the Obama mess and that's what the folks in New Hampshire want."
Both President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have made several trips to New Hampshire, a swing state with just four electoral votes.
