
LOWELL (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) — Two people are under arrest in connection with a triple shooting in Lowell, the Lowell Sun is reporting.
Chanphakdae Thang, 21, of Lowell, faces charges of armed assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful carrying of a firearm. Shane Downs, 31, of Lowell, is charged with disturbing the peace.
Thang and Downs are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Lowell District Court.
Gunfire erupted late Wednesday night in the Tedeschi parking lot on Bridge Street. Three people were shot and another person was injured.
When officers arrived, they found one man on the ground of the lot. Police started to look for a man who fled, but once they found him, realized he'd also been shot.
A third man was found shot behind the former police precinct on Bridge Street. A fourth victim later turned up at Lowell General Hospital.
Police are not releasing a possible motive.
