SALEM, Mass. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Their lives were nearly destroyed by Hurricane Isaac. Now, some of the storms littlest victims are getting a chance at a new life.
Twenty-eight dogs from the C Dog Run animal shelter in Florida had to be evacuated ahead of the storm. The fury friends made the long trip up to Salem and the Northeast Animal Shelter.
The dogs will now make some Massachusetts families very happy. The move is part of a program called Dogs Across America, which rescues shelter animals in need of help.
