5 accused of smashing windows at Billerica school

BILLERICA (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Five windows were smashed and three classrooms were damaged Monday night at the Dutile School in Billerica.

Police say five juveniles were involved and may be charged with Malicious Destruction of Property. Officers caught them as they were leaving the scene. No names have been released.

The damage is estimated to cost $3,400.

The school, which opens on Wednesday, is one of five elementary schools in the district which educates about 425 students from K-5th grade.
