Man rushed to hospital following shooting in Dorchester

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A male victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot on Wheatland Avenue in Dorchester on Monday.

According to The Boston Globe, police responded to the area of 57 Wheatland Avenue around 6:41 p.m. for a reported shooting.

Police have set up a large crime scene in the area.
