QUINCY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The man wanted in two attempted robberies remains on the loose.
Police say he tried robbing an-off duty transit officer outside her home around midnight in the Quincy Shore Drive area of North Quincy.
When she identified herself as a transit officer, he took off in his van and she followed. After a high-speed pursuit, he crashed on Old Colony Avenue and ran away.
Earlier in the night, police say another woman in Boston reported a man robbed her purse. He then dropped her off in Quincy.
The 30-year old officer, who served her country in Iraq, graduated from the MBTA Transit Police Academy in 2008.
