SOMERVILLE (FOX 25 /
MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Somerville
are searching for a male suspect who reportedly indecently assaulted an 18-year-old
as she was shopping on Sept. 3.
According to police,
the female was shopping at a local supermarket around 6 p.m. when she was
approached from behind by a dark skinned white male. The suspect assaulted her then quickly fled from
the store on a dark colored mountain bicycle in the direction of Union Square.
The victim told police the suspect
appeared to be between the ages of 30 and 35.
He is approximately 6'0" tall and has an average build. He has short dark hair.
