(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Elizabeth Warren is gaining ground in the Massachusetts race for U.S. Senate, according to a new poll.
The survey of Bay State voters shows Warren leading Senator Scott Brown 50 to 44 percent among likely voters.
The poll was conducted by the Western New England University Polling Institute.
The gap among registered voters is even larger, which shows Warren leading 53 to 41 percent.
Officials say the gain could be thanks to the Democratic National Convention, where Warren gave a primetime speech ahead of former President Bill Clinton.
