A teenaged driver killed a jogger in Manorville this morning.
Suffolk County Police say Brendon Snizek, 17, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound on Chapman Boulevard when he swerved to the right and struck Ruby Schwartz, who was jogging. Police say it happened at 7:35 a.m.
Schwartz, 43, of Manorville, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital but it was too late to save her.
Police say that Snizek was not hurt. They are asking anyone with information on the crash to call 631-852-8752.
