Police believe the male suspect dubbed "The Bearded Bandit" held up a Pawtucket Credit Union on Newport Avenue in East Providence around 4 p.m. Tuesday, reports The Providence Journal.

Detective Capt. Richard Frazier told the newspaper that based on surveillance videos the police believe the man reportedly responsible for Tuesday's heist is the same man wanted for robbing at least six other banks in Rhode Island and one bank in southeastern Massachusetts.

The bank robberies occurred on February 23 in Seekonk, Mass., April 16 in Cranston, R.I., May 7 in Warwick, R.I., June 27 in North Providence, R.I., July 26 in Barrington, R.I., and August 25 in North Pawtucket, R.I. The first robbery occurred in February 2012.

Massachusetts State Police say the robberies occurred approximately 30 days apart and usually took place between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The FBI is offering a reward for his capture.
