Man killed by commuter train near Mass Pike

FRAMINGHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A 58-year-old man died on Saturday night after being hit by a commuter rail train in the area of Exit 17 on the Mass Pike.

Officials tell FOX 25 the man, who was trespassing, was hit by an outbound commuter rail on the Framingham line at about 6:40 p.m.

The man has not been identified.

The fatal accident caused an estimated 45-minute delay for the line.
