(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A husband and wife who happen to be blind took a huge leap of faith in Maine.
Cameras were rolling as the self-admitted daredevils jumped out of a plane for the first time.
Stephanie and Gary Hurd said they've chased just about every thrill out there, but one thing they had not done was skydiving – until Saturday. They jumped tandem with professionals at Skydive New England.
Both Stephanie and Gary suffer from congenital diseases that robbed them of their vision, but their children were able to watch from below, and no doubt, they were very proud.
The couple says they hope their jump gives people courage, no matter what life brings their way.
