Sen. Kerry pledges to stay awake during Elizabeth Warren's speech
(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Senator John Kerry gave a thumbs up and said he was feeling "great" when FOX 25's Sharman Sacchetti asked if he'd be able to stay awake for Elizabeth Warren's speech at a fundraiser Monday.
Kerry was caught on camera yawning during Warren's prime time speech at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
Later, Sen. Kerry told reporters he had yawned because he had taken four Advil after twisting his knee.
Speaking briefly outside the fundraiser at the Cyclorama in Boston, Kerry said he'd stay awake for the speech, but that he does still have a little Advil.
