BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A man was arrested Friday for the March beating of four people, including a homeless man who was sleeping at the Back Bay MBTA station.
Marc Sico, 21, of Medford, was placed under arrest at his home by transit police. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
On March 13, transit officers were patrolling through Back Bay MBTA station when they noticed three males viciously attacking a homeless male. Police said they were punching and kicking the victim. They immediately fled the scene when they saw police and headed towards Dartmouth Street.
The victim told police he was sleeping when the suspects began punching and kicking him in the face to wake him up. He said he had no prior issues with his attackers and did not understand why they attacked him.
Shortly after the assault in Back Bay station, Boston Police responded to the corner of Dartmouth and St. James streets to meet two victims who were also assaulted. The victims were punched and kicked.
Transit police officers found two males fitting the description on Boylston Street and stopped them. Sico and 21-year-old James Marino, of Medford, were positively identified by the victims as their attackers.
Police said Boston Municipal Court issued a warrant for Sico's arrest after he failed to appear for his court appearances.
