Weekend weather remains unsettled on Sunday

Posted: Updated:

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - We're going to continue to stay pretty unsettled through the weekend with temperatures in the low to mid 60s on Sunday.

In addition to the clouds, there is a possibility of a rain shower so keep your jacket and umbrella handy if you have outdoor plans.

The morning will be full of clouds with temperatures in the 50s. An area of light rain will push through the southeastern Massachusetts, but by the afternoon a few breaks in the clouds are possible, especially in the western part of the state.

An upper level of disturbance is going to be passing through which will allow for unstable conditions and the possibility of a shower and a thunderstorm in the western areas of the state.

However, by Monday, the sun will be back and temperatures will be near 70. On Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be in the 70s, but there is a chance for more showers on those days.

By next weekend, temperatures will be back to where they should be fore this time of year.
