(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A South Carolina man will now spend an additional six months in prison for sucker punching his public defender in court.
According to the New York Daily News, 30-year-old Lamarcus Williamson hit attorney Dan Hall in York County court on Tuesday and it was caught by courtroom surveillance cameras.
After pleading guilty to robbery, assault and drug charges and getting a sentence of 15 years, Williamson, who was handcuffed at the time, decked his attorney.
Williamson was immediately dragged out of court. He was given an extra six months in prison for contempt of court.
Hall suffered a busted lip and a bruise, but wasn't seriously injured. What's even more unfortunate is that it happened on Hall's 58th birthday.
