Nassau County education officials provided extra security for SAT examination in Mineola on Saturday.
Nassau County DA Kathleen Rice said new regulations require photo IDs after a major cheating scandal in the Great Neck School District prompted administrators to crack down.
Students are now subject to ID checks throughout the examination and photos will be attached to the scores sent to schools.
Last year, charges were filed against 20 students and older students were accused of being paid to stand in for others seeking better grades.
The scandal led the operators of the SAT and ACT to institute new rules.
