The interstate was closed around 7 a.m. between exits 46 and exit 49, or approaching the Newtown/Yardley exit, FOX 29 Traffic Reporter Kacie McDonnell reported earlier.

It reopened just after 8 a.m.

Motorists should still expect delays in the area. To get around the scene, take northbound U.S. Route 1 to northbound Oxford Valley Road and get back on I-95 at Newtown/Yardley.
