PHILADELPHIA -
Surveillance cameras at a West Hunting Park Avenue gas station captured a carjacking suspect hop into a victim's car and drive away as the victim continued to hang on.
Philadelphia Police say it happened Monday morning as a 61-year-old man was at the Luke Oil gas station on the 3100 bock of West Hunting Park.
Police say a man pulled into the gas station with a late 1980s Oldsmobile station wagon, walked to the cashier's booth behind the victim, then jumped into his car and attempted to drive away.
The victim is seen on surveillance video reaching into the car from the driver's side.
Eventually, the suspect managed to drive off, but not without the victim still hanging on.
Police described the suspect as being black, between the ages of 30 and 40, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray baseball cap.
If you have any information, you're asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or by text, 773847.

Tuesday morning will feature another round patchy fog. It will be a mild and muggy start with temps in the mid 60s for the city and around 60 for the suburbs. Look for more clouds than sun with highs the low 80s. There could be a few spotty showers during the day.
